So i decided to get back into the h-action after a deep period of Skyrim goodness, and the first game i wanted to check out was Illusions new title : Wakeari. Illusion has a varied track record, but atleast they try out new stuff and dont just repack the same game over and over. I enjoyed their last game; Artificial Academy, and had somewhat high hopes for this title. Alright, lets go!

Monster Girl Quest is a game that walks on the thin line between an RPG and a Visual Novel. You are Luka, a young man who dreams of becoming a hero and defeat the Monster Lord. However life takes a turn in another direction when Luka encounters a passed out female monster in the woods. Despite the beliefs of monster hate he has been raised with, he chooses to help her recover. This begins a grand adventure where Luka and his newfound companion travels the world in search for purpose and answers.

As you progress in the storyline you will be given choices and fight battles. Battles are pretty standard RPG stuff, you choose between a set of skills and orders and try to defeat your enemy. The enemies all try to have sex with you however, and you must fend yourself or suffer defeat. Luka's beliefs forbids him from having sex with monsters, and will cause game over if it happens. The game is very forgiving however, it lets you restart the battle as much as you want. Do not hesitate to be defeated a couple of times if a certain monster tickles your fancy!

Needless to say, if you are not into monster girls, this is not a game for you. As far as i have seen, there are no human girls you can interact with, the closest is dark elves or zombies(!). It also contain some vore (monsters devouring the hero in a sexual way) scenes, however this can be disabled in the configuration.

It's a pretty long game, it will probably last around 15-20 hours for a normal player. But there is CG in every fight and also in many Events, so there is very little downtime between the porn. Monster Girl Quest 2 will also be released in the near future, so make sure to finish this first!

Game is patched with RogueTranslators English Patch. Just unpack and play.

Rudy was a relaxed child, not caring much for anything. As he reached manhood his attitude did not change much, and as a result his father tossed him out in the woods in an attempt to change his ways. This is where we take control over out hero in his new-found quest to become a Hunter. Along the way you encounter some female companions who will help you out as well as a horde of enemies, seeking to end your existence.

This game has a rare strength among Hentai games; it would actually be a decent game even without the porn! Which is a good thing, because this is not a 5 minute fap fest, we are talking hours upon hours of gameplay with the occasional CG in-between. As a Hunter you take on missions from your Guild (missions which your companions may or may not like) and gain rewards and guild ranks as you complete them. Meanwhile you will level up, gain money and equipment and all that standard RPG stuff. Inns are a central feature in this game, to trigger events with the girls you need to choose to stay there. 

To get the girl you want you need to make sure she approves of the type of missions you accept, as well as how you handle them. You also must visit different cities when you want to trigger certain events. If you do this properly you will receive the ending of that girl! If you need help or just want to make 100% sure you are doing the right thing, i recommend the walkthrough link at the end of this post.

The combat system is real-time, however you only control Rudy. The other 3 characters are AI-controlled and you can only give them a general strategy to follow. This is surprisingly not that annoying since it makes battles quick and fluid. There are of course cases of the AI hitting some random goblin instead of the dangerous wizard who demolishes you with fireballs, but you will get used to engaging properly in fights as the game goes on. 

To summarize, if you enjoy RPGs and hentai (duh!) this is a must-try. Plus the music is sorta catchy...

Beloved Kingdom is a classic game released in 2001, and a game i still play from time to time. You play as Crow, a young man seeking love and purpose in a small secluded town. The game spans over 3 months, each day you work and then have some free time where you can flirt around. By working at different places you gain skill in different stats which help you attract different girls. There are a ton of different women you can try to impress, and most dont like it when you romance others, giving the game massive replay value. Personally i have not gotten the ending of half of them yet! Each girl has different conditions and events that need to be unlocked, some are a lot harder than others. After three months has passed you get an ending depending on your actions and which girl you have progressed most with. 

A incomplete walkthrough available here. I have not yet found a comprehensive one in English. There are also some nice hints and tips there, all in all a good read.

Install steps:

1. Download the iso, the 1.06 patch and the english patch.
2. Mount the iso and install the game
3. Run the 1.06 update patch
4. Unpack the english patch to your game directory
5. Play!

In this game you pick a team of heroines and do turn-based fights against an array of sexy opponents. When winning a battle against an enemy you unlock that character to use in later fights, as well as a some nice scenes and CG that can be viewed whenever you wish. The battles are surprisingly advanced, with every character having their own special moves and strengths. It's not an easy game, the battles require you to really try hard, i struggled a lot to win some of the fights The characters are mostly from Bleach, Naruto and One Piece, but various other appear as well. The battles are all in english, however the scenes you can watch after a victory is all in Japanese.
